I appreciate his enthusiasm, but from what I've seen, his posts are unnecessarily long and are often restating the obvious.

I suspect you're operating with a different definition of "true leftist" than I do.  He strikes me as more of a Dem establishment hack, which is at least superficially a very different beast.

Like how he wouldn't vote for candidates like Heitkamp or Landrieu. That's how I'm defining it.
