Wasn't Debbie Wasserman Schultz considered a rising star at a previous time? Chet Edwards was supposed to be Obama's VP, what happened to him?

Why is the Democratic party so bad at organizing locally though? It seems like a self-fulfilling prophesy that some of the Democrats here have.

Let's give Ted Cruz some credit - even if he doesn't win the nomination, he got a lot further than I think most thought he would in his run for President. So I guess he wasn't a dud.
