So... What does this mean? Is same-sex marriage now legal in all 50 states, or do same-sex pairs simply receive federal benefits in all states?. Or what? (Ignorant of how American law works)
The latter, though I'm honestly not sure what legal gay marriage across the board would mean other than that the states (even those with constitutional provisions that prohibit SSM) would have to recognize these marriages and provide them the same benefits as they do for opposite-sex couples.
This raises another question: is passing RFMA even necessary at this point?
