I think the main problem is that this question does not differentiate between one's country and the rulers of one's country, and it really should.



I think you're all missing the point.  But then we're all entitled to our opinions, I suppose.

What good does it do to stop paying taxes because the government decides to send troops overseas, for example?  Because George Bush pisses you off you will deny some poor hungry child milk and diapers?

I will support my country whether or not I agree with its policies.  Of course, if I disagree, I also will work to change its government's officers via the democratic process. 

I voted agree.
