Yes it's a take off of this thread, but I'm putting it in a more appropriate forum.

If I ever learn Latin, then it'll be a Catholic Church.

Why would you have to learn Latin? 99% of their churches don't do that anymore.

Has anyone here ever actually been to a black church? I haven't (obviously). Though I'm sure there are some in northwest Minneapolis.

well, I remember there being a black family at my parent's church. does that count?

LOL. The funny thing is even by this defining "black church" as "any church with anyone black in it", I STILL have never been to one.

The church I've been to most likely to have had a black is the Lutheran megachurch I was at one Christmas in Prior Lake, MN, simply due to sheer size, but Prior Lake is also 0.8% black.

I've only been to church once in Minneapolis surprisingly (This Easter) and that was an all white church that fits into the category of option 5. I really doubt any of the other churches in the area have many blacks in my >85% white part of Minneapolis that has more Asians than blacks, but hey, there must be at least one black SOMEWHERE.
