Well, yeah. You're a terrible Christian.

Please cite multiple specific examples and back them up with some sort of argument. I would be very interested in hearing your views on this, 'Reverend'.

I like Muslims and even have a few Muslim friends, but they do not worship the same God that the Christians and Jews do.  Allah is not the same as Jehovah even though they would tell you different.  Muhammed offers no salvation to Muslims.  However, Jesus offers salvation to all people regardless of religion or ideology.

Look, fellas, I'm just telling you what I believe.  It's not necessarily fact and it may not be correct.  Everyone is welcomed to have their own views on the book of Revelation.  Even among Christians and even Southern Baptists there is a wide range of ideas.  The interpretation of Revelation is a very minor issue at best and is not a stumbling block to worshipping with other believers.  If it does become a major issue for someone, they need to have their heart examined.  As my pastor calls it, it is a tertiary issue, an issue that will not stop corporate worship.

That's enough of the end time discussion.  It's only going to turn into a flame war and nobody needs that going into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Seems like the perfect time for it, to be honest.

Eh, it's too late in Advent for that. Maybe a fortnight or so ago.

Maybe, but I just don't want to incite a war of words the night before Christmas Eve.  Christmas is a peaceful time, and I want to keep it that way.

Haha, oh let me just casually drop in a line about the leader of the worlds largest church perhaps being in league with the anti-Christ.  Be asked to back anything up with facts, oh its not important never mind its christmas...  Too lazy to even back up your bull$hit theories.

Most of his teachings, though, are not aligned with the Holy Scriptures which is he is supposed to uphold and support and teach the Church.  That bothers me a great deal.

Fortunately, the Catholic Church is not and has never been beholden to an American Evangelical interpretation of the Scriptures.

I wonder if Bushie knows that the Catholic Church rejects a literal reading of the Bible. That alone probably makes every Pope the Antichrist.

My "celebration" of Kiritimati (and every other time zone until New York) will be simply watching their clock turn to midnight on the World Clock at www.timeanddate.com.  I can also see the map traverse across the world from east to west all day on New Year's Eve.

Then why get up 45 minutes early for that? You could just set your alarm 5 minutes early and still do it. Hell I don't wake up 45 minutes before I leave to work even.

Duh.  Obviously it's because he needs to "hop in the shower to get [his] eyes open".  How can he celebrate the clock reaching midnight if his eyes aren't open?

I know. This is pretty offensive stuff, Bushie. For God's sake, at least put some thought into it. Don't just drop it like some turd and leave it there- defend it. Otherwise it's pretty disgraceful, not to mention bigoted.

Could you elaborate upon what, specifically, the Pope has said that leads you to believe that he is a false prophet?

He has said "Atheists who do good are redeemed" - That is false, one can only be redeemed by accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
Actually that was a Huffington Post headline that garbled what Pope Francis said and was repeated by other people who knew as little about Catholic doctrine as they did, or you do.  TO begin with the headline conflated two separate statements Francis said into one.  The first was that atheists can do good, and the second was that atheists are redeemed, just as everyone else has been redeemed by Jesus Christ.  But in Catholic doctrine, redemption is not the same as salvation.  In Catholic doctrine, we have all been redeemed because Jesus paid the price for our sins, but salvation requires us to accept the freely offered redemption by accepting Jesus Christ.

Francis wasn't saying anything novel when he made those remarks.  He was just repeating standard Catholic doctrine that only seems strange to Calvinists who believe in limited atonement and thus believe that atonement and salvation are identical.

Also, you really need to read the Epistle of James, especially James 2:17-20 if you believe that faith without works is sufficient for Christian salvation.  Granted, that doesn't mean the faithful are expected to be sinless, but it does mean that the faithful are expected to make an honest effort to do works as they are able.

As a fake Catholic, I find Bushie's views on my Pope deeply offensive.

Also the fact that Bushie is waking up hours early to watch a clock on a website turn to midnight ranks in the top 5 weirdest Update things, I think.

I honestly thought he'd be watching a live telecast of some celebration in Kiribati, but no, that would have slightly mitigated the weirdness of this behavior.
