Dobbs would be a spoiler for the Republicans. That's about it.

We really need you Lou but he has not expressed interest in running. Is there anyone else who could carry his mantle?

Samuel Wurzelbacher?

Sorry, Wurzelbacher sounds like a www.neoconzionistthreat.com

All Dobbs does is get on tv and radio and bloviate and howl at the moon and pretend that he knows policy better than anyone else.   If the only qualification one needed to be president was to be a gasbag then, sure, he would be one of the nation's greatest ever.

Heck, even I could do that!

His chances are somewhere between those of Pat Buchanan and David Duke (if he runs for the Republican nomination) and a couple of orders of magnitude smaller, if he runs as independent. Anything may happen in this unpredictable world of ours, but this is, should we say it, outside the realm of the probable Smiley

Would by ballot be invalidated if I repeatedly crossed out Lou Dobbs's name, and then stabbed it with a knife to the point of unreadability?

I see Lou Dobbs as a more moderate alternative with a broader appeal. Both of those men would be ideal leaders of our nation.

What do you think. He declined interest in 2012 but if Obama scews up and the Republicans nominate another looser I could see him jumping in and winning ih wanted it. Or he could seek the GOP nomination but that would go against his principles of being an independent.

I don't know much about Dobbs except that he seems to care more about real American workers and their jobs and not so much about illegals.  I love that about him.  Is her against socialism and spread the wealth?  Is he a conservative on abortion and the homosexual agenda?  I could very well support him. He's right -- we have to do something about all the illegal trash pouring into our country.  its the marial boat lift all over again.  Thank you, Carter!

I am afraid, most Americans, if faced with any of those distinguished gentlemen in a one-on-one matchup with the Devil, would choose the latter Smiley

He is pro-choice and generally supports gay rights. He is also against gun control. He believes that the US is too supportive of Israel. He supports increasing the minimum wage.

Lou Dobbs is a xenophobic, bigoted demagogue.  He would be an utter flop as a Presidential candidate.

Lou Dobbs is more moderate on social issues. He is pro-choice and wants religion out of politics.

Lou Dobbs is not a xenophope. If anything he is to liberal on immigration. I think he says it as a law and order issue. You on the other hand strongly support a Nation that limits immigration to a paticular relgion or ethnicity.

Why are we even talking about Lou Dobbs as a potential candidate?
