As much as the people who shot my mom's step brother deserve to die, I can't say I support it. I oppose it but I don't care enough about the issue to think about it much.

I may theoretically support it, but the potential of executing an innocent person along with the costs from the appeals are too great. I'd reserve it for extreme cases such as those of mass murder or war crimes.

Oppose.  There are evil people who deserve to die, but a society consisting of imperfect humans should not be trusted with the power to kill.  Otherwise, society will inevitably execute someone who should not die.
