What, are we going to create a spending cap for private purchases of oil?  How do you suppose that would even work?  Is there a time limit?  Should a negative amount of dollars be spent on oil importation at some point?

1. Spending by the federal Government on research into green technology, basically creating more jobs in the area.

2. Overall decreases in taxation.

3. Yes, yes I know. It's not a renewable resource. Still, there's a lot of coal to be used.

4. Again, the piece of legislation isn't perfect, but I think we should be spending less on foreign oil and more on domestic energy.

I've lightened up on my attack of Fritzcare and have said I look to, instead of repealing the entire system, just fixing it while still in place. I'll seek bipartisan help in accomplishing that goal.

I wouldn't veto it, but an individual opt-out clause would be best. Not an opt out businesses, but for individuals.
