Probably because they didn't have the proper licensing and permits to have that type of corporation on private property. It clearly violates zoning laws according to the left. What about the corruption at Goldman Sachs and Fannie and Freddie? Oh it's ok they donate to their campaigns. So much for the party of the little guy.

Derek is not quite right in the head - don't expect much of what he has to say to make sense or have any relevance to what has been said before, because he doesn't know how to think about what he says before he says it. I mean seriously, this is the guy who thinks that Jesus is the son of God and thusly must believe in the Bible but also accepts the contradictory notion that ancient gods were aliens or paradox defying time traveling humans from the future.

If only these children had made a $0.25 donation to the Obama campaign, then as the police were prepared to shut down the operation, a phone call would have came in and they would have dispersed French-Hotel Rwanda style.

Yes you might also say that the police weren't quite right in the head.

It's happened again- and again- in San Francisco and in Portland, OR.

To quote Jeremy Clarkson:

"In America, one needs a permit to do everything except for purchasing firearms."

Also, I would have thought that the American government would have no problem with kids selling lemonade, considering that (fizzy) lemonade isn't exactly the best drink for your health. Population control and all that?

I, for one, hope they were hauled away in chains to rot in prison with the rest of society's refuse.

The war on drugs isn't nearly as dangerous as unlicensed lemonade stands run by five year olds.
