We proudly stan a strong millennial WoC leader of North Korea. Neoliberal western chauvinists can trout out their dementia ridden old white man all they want but we know who the real winner is.

Women have been severely under represented in the dictator world, glad to see that glass ceiling getting smashed

Half of all dictators should be women.
Well, this is the future that liberals want.

I thought liberals wanted more female drone pilots and more women serving as prison guards.

Boring jokes about women dictators aside, we really have no idea who’d take over if KJU died. Being a woman is actually a pretty big demerit against his sister in a governing culture which is very militaristic (and doesn’t have much of an independent power base anyway...) and his brother doesn’t seem to give a crap about governance.

His sister doesn’t have much of an independent power base and it’s more likely that you’d get a major conflict within the party over who the successor is, and the consequences of that could get pretty ugly for the world at-large. Definitely easy to imagine that we get back to the climate of 2017 where we see a lot of posturing by NK in some general’s effort to consolidate his control and worst-case, now would be a terrible time for a regime collapse scenario  considering the pandemic and deteriorating US-China relations.

It is such delicious irony that someone whose entire political philosophy was guided by fear and intimidation would meet his end because the doctor's hands were shaking.

What's the sister actually like? Does anybody have an article with a profile of her?

As horrific as Stalin's USSR was, he never in a million years would have tried to make his son General Secretary.

Dear comrades,

In order to celebrate our glorious new leader, Ms. Kim, we've made a new movie in her honor.  It is called Wonder Woman 1948 after the year in which her grandfather created our homeland.  Now those capitalist pigs down south may say that she wasn't alive in this year (every member of the Eternal President's direct family is born an adult and is immortal, her brother has simply gone to a farm up state) and that is a purposefully poorly made poster of one of their movies. That is not the case. Ms. Kim is so beautiful that if they saw her face on a poster, they'd all die.  She may be called "Diana" in the film but in English, that's just how you say "wonderful leader lady".  We are still working on a release date for this film (our director is very sought out) but hope to have it to you as soon as we can pirate and superimpose her face on the Western film.

Long live the Kims!

This is getting quite significant. Seems like he's holed up in his resort away from Pyongyang: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/kim-jong-un-coronavirus-health-ill-heart-death-satellite-north-korea-a9484601.html

Either he's quite ill from coronavirus or the situation in North Korea is very bad and he doesn't want to risk being anywhere near it. The man is obese and a heavy smoker; two things that would not bode well should he catch it.

A Japanese magazine is saying he’s in a vegetative state.
I find that doubtful; the man’s never eaten a vegetable in his life.

As weird as it is to use monarchical terms to describe an allegedly Communist government, I could see Kim's sister leading a "regency" for Kim's 9/10/whatever year old son until he comes of age. The son would technically be the head of state and would eventually mature into power but she'd hold the reins until he comes to adulthood.

and I'm sure that said son would not experience a tragic hunting "accident"

This being North Korea, I wouldn't be surprised if the source of these stories is the North Korean government themselves leaking bullsh**t as some supposed undercover source just for fun.

Moon Chung-in, who is the senior national security advisor to President Moon, and probably outside North Korea one of the people - relatively speaking - to know best what might be going on there, has categorically insisted that, according to South Korean Intelligence, Kim is alive and well. Someone here must be making stuff up out of thin air, and either the South Koreans or the American Media are going to have a lot of egg in their face soon. I have my suspicions as to whom.

If Seoul was aware of something, he'd probably say "well, not that we know...", or something along these lines, instead of giving such an emphatic statement.

All looks like a giant case of geopolitical s**tposting.

Huh, very funny Kim, very cool  for Juche Necromancy to bring you to good health after being dead for a couple of days.

But seriously, it was kind of obvious that he was just healing from his surgery. He has the best doctors the North Korean people can toil for value for him to afford. It was obvious from the start that the sudden allegations were just the news media having a field day on reporting the situation in North Korea.

Kim has reappeared in Public in good health at the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory in Sunchon, north of Pyongyang, on Friday. There is no Video footage released yet, so take with caution, but if it holds it would appear very much a Embarrassment for the usual suspects. Perhaps people will now finally stop taking everything they hear from them about these types of things at face value. US Media with their "confidential intelligence sources" have almost no clue about what is going on there, and have no interest to report accurately, as opposed to making headlines. The only reliable source outside NK, with any sort of Idea and with proper sources on the ground, are the South Korean intelligence services and the Ministry of National Reunification.

Not just for explosives, it is a dual use material for the extraction of Uranium from Phosphoric Acids as well. China exports some of theirs it to North Korea, where Phosphate Fertilizer production is quite a big thing apparently, even for a Country with the kind of food supply Issues it has.
