Trump is sort of like a guy in a horror flick who is stabbed to death multiple times, but keeps coming back to life, granted looking ever more grotesque after each death event. In Trump's case, he's stabbing himself, but that is a minor plot detail deviation. So yes, the clear and present danger to the nation has not been fully exorcised from the nation's soul.
