Open this, lock that, ban him, don't ban the other guy, you shouldn't have banned that guy, my gosh, it's all just so terribly wrong. Anyway, putting all of that aside, just why the F does this thread tick you off so much?  You don't like snaps of teenagers and olds, sort of the Goldilocks rule, just something in-between. Is that it?  Why do you even f'ing care? I don't get it.

Torie and brother Jon in an apple orchard just outside of Hudson (on an estate owned by a Dutch family for about 200 years - I'm friends with one of the sons, another gay lawyer ). Out of the about ten variety of apples sampled, the honeysuckles were the best (at once sweet and tangy), and Macintosh's second best. We along with partner Dan left with a bag of about 30 apples, along with some pears.

Fascinating that people still see themselves as (at least somewhat) Dutch after so many years. That's really cool

They speak fluent English. The ancestor is a rather famous one in the Hudson Valley, Van Ness.

Torie hanging out in the minimalist art Dia Beacon museum in Beacon, NY, where Nobody's Fool (Paul Newman) was filmed. The diner scene was filmed in Hudson on Warren Street. By minimalist, there is 240,000 square feet (a former Nabisco boxing plant on the Hudson River) where the art is as seen, little bits of this and that on the walls, in vast white spaces. It was very soothing actually, and particularly pleasurable with a little help from my friends.
