See, that would've been a great idea if Greitens had managed to hold on to power. But the fact is, Greitens is out and Mike Parson is in, and Parson is the kind of wholly inoffensive incumbent that will have absolutely no trouble winning in 2020 if he were to run. Even if he didn't run, Kander would still face an uphill battle trying to win an open seat.
