"Atlasia is on life support, and fading quicky", or so says Senator Chris Supersoulty is his first ever book The Death of the Republic.  In this work, Senator Supersoulty outlines, in his words, how, "A weak Presidency, personality cults (both pro and anti), exclusionary attitudes, carpet baggers and an Imperial Senate are bringing the downfall of our cherished government."

The current presidential candidate starts by taking us back to the foundings of our government, detailing the many discussions that went on during the times, using many personal letters and references to give us a clear picture into the thoughts of many founders, including Demrepdan, Eric Nyman, Don Johnson and Himself.  Using this as a guide, he then compares the ideals and acctualities of todays Atlasia to the those of the past and finds stark contrasts.

However, Supersoulty does not call for a return to an idealized past.  Instead, he askes us to look to the future and asks us to ask ourselves, "Does what we are doing now really feel right?  Is the our republic, now in name only, really living up to its full potential?  Have we led ourselves down the path to insignificance and possible destruction?"

The book is 210 pages long and is now available at Borders.com.

Also check out the "fair-and-balanced as Fox News" counter-productions:

In Perspective:  Wasteful Thoughts from Atlasia's 1st District (King Union-Atlantic Press, 315 pages, 2005.)

You can basically tell what the book is about just reading the topic. Wink

Looks like I picked the wrong moment to drop the name Palpatine.

Hm....I feel neglected.  I'd consider myself a "founding" member of these here boards, just as important as the rest.  But I'm not mentioned in the above book review!  meh!

I tend to steer clear of the fantasy forum but that was a really funny post. Good job.

I wrote a book too; it's called I Wrote a Book and will be available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble sometime in 2006, to give you time to forget about the fact that I made this claim.

I suppose that now is good a time as any to announce my forthcoming book, The Unauthorized Biography of Kamehameha IV to be available at finer pet stores everywhere!

Except the UK. Your publishers won't risk a libel suit.
