Is there no chance Biden could be Weinstein-ed?

It's coming, I'm sure of it. He doesn't have to be outed as a serial rapist, because he probably isn't one, but a few articles about "inappropriate groping" will be enough to stop his campaign dead. Doesn't help him much that there's photographic evidence of him getting touchy-feely with women who don't appear to be into it.

Mark Cuban is “getting more serious” about a run, and has even talked to Steve Bannon(!) about it:

That Biden article is interesting. I knew he would play the role of "After four years of Donald Trump, the country needs someone who knows what they're doing from day one. There's no time for a learning curve."

Him launching with Kamala from day one is a unique move. Not sure if I am in favor of that. He should hold off.

lol. as if Kamala would be dumb enough to accept that offer.

Kamala Harris accepting Biden's offer is the easiest way for her to become President. Of course she won't say no, no Democrat would say no to Joe's offer. He's the most electable one we have.

Why would Harris accept that offer when she's already running for President herself?

The part about him and Harris launching a ticket from day one is a very interesting move. If Biden wins the nomination, it's more than likely he would choose Kamala as his running mate so I wouldn't rule this out.

But that wouldn't be "day one".  Yes, if Biden wins the nomination, and he picks Harris as his running mate, then she isn't going to say no.  But she's not going to agree to be his running mate in 2019 when he initially launches his campaign (and I doubt he's going to make that offer anyway).

I just posted about Biden’s book tour in its own thread, but I’ll mention this 2020 tidbit here:

Al Sharpton asks McAuliffe if he’s running for prez in 2020:

And here’s more Cuban:

The story also makes it sounds like he more definitively ruled out running as a Democrat, though it doesn’t give an exact quote.

McAuliffe was also on Bakari Sellers's podcast a couple of weeks ago and gave a very similar very non-denial denial.

Also I don't know how to classify this but I was at a wedding with a high level Sanders IA staffer this weekend. He generally stayed pretty mum on the subject, but waggled his eyebrows a bit about the crowds Bernie was getting in IA.

As Biden's book tour begins, he says he'll run in 2020 if "no one steps up":

That same story also has the latest non-denial from Kasich:

Here is something about Cuomo's almost complete lack of small donors:

Any sitting governor of New York is inevitably going to be decent at raising $ from big dollar donors, simply because the New York state government can impact a lot of big ticket financial interests, so it's in the interest of a lot of rich people to be in the good graces of whoever the governor is.

So if Cuomo does run for prez, then I think he'll be able to pull in decent fundraising #s....at first.  But he's not going to be able to keep up with candidates with real grassroots support over the long term.  The big dollar donations eventually run out.

Rewatching Sunday Night Football, Matt Lauer had a brief interview with Joe Biden. He said that he missed politics, and didn't say no when asked if he was running for President (he deferred to the audience, which cheered loudly).

He's also bravely decided not to announce his 2020 presidential candidacy yet:

So he's made an affirmative decision not to make a decision?  I wonder how many candidates can say that?  Or are there candidates who have decided not to decide whether to decide?

Warren does a nearly 20 minute interview on Morning Joe:

http://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/watch/senator-elizabeth-warren-will-trump-now-stand-up-to-wall-street-1097272899793

Talks about her "rigged" comments at about the 4 minute mark.  Shortly after that, one of the hosts brings up 2020 and a potential run by Warren herself, but she doesn't take the bait, moving on to how she's running for reelection next year.
