Why are they so convinced she would endorse Sanders?   They should consider it a win she stayed neutral

Mainly because Warren said she wouldn't endorse Clinton.

In a sense the day she finally endorses (Clinton) it could be seen as a sort of unofficial end to the Sanders campaign. That is the day for the party to truly unify. For that reason she would probably hold out on doing it until it becomes essentially hopeless for Sanders (assuming he hasn't suspended).  The latest it could happen would be probably late April, after PA.
