It's a good match-up.  Both candidates represent the polar ends of the spectrum, although if campaigning, they'd try to hide it.  Both can bore a hole the size of the grand canyon just by opening their mouths.  Neither is very charismatic to say the least.  Who wins the election?  Who wins Tennessee?  Any maps?

Frist wins TN, Gore wins national election.  Despite how boring Gore is, Frist is much worse & he has too mmany skeletons in his closet (experiments on cats, etc)

I agree with Smash. Though I'm not sure Frist would win Tennessee,  he'd be favored.

Not a thing wrong with Al Gore.  Had he not been robbed he'd have been another moderate Republican like Clinton.  His, and the nation's, horrible crisis of the last 5 years has turned him into a much more interesting guy, though.

I'd vote Frist, don't have anything in particular against him other than he wouldn't be a great national candidate.  Map is the same as I posted in this thread about an all Virginia matchup.

Only Virginia wouldn't be so close.  Frist pulls more than 50% in Tenn since Gore couldn't even beat Bush there Tongue
