I don't know the guy well enough, think I've only read two of his posts before, so I really can't say. He is probably a quite nice person when you get to know him.

Of course his stero-typical and dumb comment about gay people makes me want to bang him in the head with my purse. Because since I have a tendancy to fancy guys instead of gals, that obviously means I also am additcted to purses, right?

Yes very much. He's a really nice person. And very intelligent for his age, I was a lot more stupid than him when I was his age.
