Hello, and welcome to the broadcast. Thanks to LSTMLL, we will be staying with you for all 72 hours of the election, only stopping to get more caffeine. Before we begin these midterms, let's take a stroll down memory lane.

It's a steamy weekend in August, and heading into the weekend the Senate is split, with the UAC controlling the Presidency and the Court. There are six Senate elections occuring, each one more interesting than the last. Out West, Mr. Hobbes defeated King for the Senate nomination, but he fails to get out of the first round. United Left Senate candidate Platypean Archcow has not posted in 2 weeks, and StevenNick easily cruises to re-election, even though one more vote for Mr. Hobbes in the First Round would have given The California Centrist a victory. In District 4, Harry is getting challenged by Josh22, who had PBrunsel campaign for him, and the race threatens to go to a run-off, especially after an Ernest legal challenge. In the nastiest race, District 3, Former Senator TexasGurl looks to take back her seat against Demrepdan, and the AFIP conglomorate there. Despite cheap shots by Governor Ilikeverin and Senator Hughento, TexasGurl sqeaks by 7-6. In the Old District 2, a newbie, RReagan4EVER, is giving Senator Akno21 a stiff challenge. When a troll casts his vote for RReagan117, Fritz counts it as a vote for Reagan, even though MAS117 was also in the race. With the contest tied, Akno takes the case to court, and wins, thus winning the election. Despite neither making it through his term, many have complained about the political beliefs of IrishDemocrat and Migrendel. In District 1, Write In Andrew advances to the Final Round to face IrishDemocrat. Andrew easily would win, but none of Keystone Phil's voters second preferenced anyone! IrishDemocrat sqeaks by. Up in the Northeast and District 2, Migrendel knocks out Democrat Umengus on a tiebreak that could have gone Umengus' way had Bono's voters second prefernced anyone. Migrendel than defeats Bono in the Final round. In the Midwest, everyone is shocked when Ilikeverin is defeated by his natural opposite, Write-In PBrunsel, 4-2. ILV lost key support from Liberals. Reaganfan lost a Gubernatorial election in the Southeast to Htmldon as well. The Left left with a 7-3 Senate lead, and a great string of momentum.

We can only hope the next 72 hours will be as entertaining.

Cheap Shots? Hardly Tongue

They weren't even negative, unless by interpretation, until Texasgurl started to attack myself.

I'm talking about placing her 7th. I don't care about it, I was just pointing it out.

Late into the night, candidates on both coasts are still presenting their case to the voters. In District 5, Alcon and Hughento have both thrown their support behind Gabu, although this is not surprising.

From now on, actual news will be in italics, normal chat in normal font.

Former Senator King has jumped into the District 5 race as a write-in candidate. It'll still be Gabu vs. everyone else, but most of StevenNick's support is from Centrists with Blue avatars, and King stands a decent chance of knocking out StevenNick in the first round. Gabu would still win in the Final round. 15 MINUTES LEFT!

The entry of King doesn't affect your support, you stay the same, you just may face King and not StevenNick in the final round. Badly worded.

What if Gabu gets knocked for some reason and I face Steven? Wink

The odds of that are so slim it's not worth talking about.
BTW, we are beating you in the ratings by about 60 or so.

NickG's vote does not count in the D1 race since he is currently not a resident of District 1 as it stands. I condemn MANN for running false results.

MANN condemns itself thank you. MANN also points out that the rest is correct and that we are the only ones to offer this.

Nor does Ethelberth's or EarlAW since they do not have their state of residency indicated.

I'll wait for Fritz's word on that.

NEWSFLASH
Gabu, Democrat of Washington, has pulled ahead 5-4-2 in D5, but it is tied when Preferential Voting comes into play.
Depending on EarlAW's situation, The Bulldog his tied if his vote counts, down by 1 if it doesn't. True Democrat is up one if it does, tied if it doesn't.

Welcome back to our coverage. We now go out to Jackson, Mississippi for a special report.

"Many in the media have begun to call District 4 for WMS. With Preferential Voting, yes, he does have a 5-1 lead, but that is hardly insurmountable for the Senator. Active voters with Democratic avatars are still in line at the polls. In Georgia, both Democratic Hawk and Q counties are favored to go in Harry's column, and Nclib will help Harry do well in North Carolina. Then, there is the Mississippi factor. KatieG and Matt both have Republican avatars, but Harry always does well in his home state, and among voters with different political beliefs. Amos in North Carolina could concievably go Harry using Preferntial Voting. However, Harry is not out of it by any means. And remember, Republicans usually vote first. Back to you, Akno."

Thanks for that. Currently, Hermit, who has been missing for several days, is actually tied for the lead.

Senator Harry has just released a statement thanking MANN for it's objective reporting.

And MANN has just released a statement thanking the Senator for his compliment.

Grumble...liberal media bias...grumble.

Wink + Tongue

Harry's a small town guy from Mississippi. Why would a snobbish Liberal Northeast media outlet like him?

Anyhow, I think King is being biased by calling the election for you

BREAKING NEWS

Josh22 of North Carolina voted for Senator Harry. It is now 3-3-2, WMS, Hermit, Harry.
Akno all of Hermit's votes go to their second preference since he has deleted himself. All Hermit votes have the second preference of WMS. So currently it is 6-2 WMS when you count Hermit second preferences. I would expect you to report fairly Akno. These are two problems you have yet to spot in your reporting.

It's 5-2. Reagan didnt 2nd preference.

Note, Htmldon and Dubya 2004 voted for Hermit but placed WMS second, and since Hermit deleted himself, the votes go to him.
