Senate to vote on defunding Planned Parenthood

This thread is just fuc**** miserable.

Planned parenthood is one of THE most cost-effective and just effective providers of healthcare for women, especially, low-income women. But of course, let's have a bunch of guys who will never get pregnant, never have to worry have the gall to dictate to women what happens in their bodies and make THAT the issue. As opposed to the family planning and cancer screening that is the majority of their work.

The promotion of sensible family planing and sex education is key to reducing abortions, oh ... but what about your right to righteous indignation?!

I would take the so-called pro-life advocates seriously if they actually engaged with those, including Planned Parenthood, who want to prevent pregnancies.
