States appearing most often are Connecticut, Ohio, New York, and Iowa.

OH voted within 2 points of national average, including minor parties, in 1968-84 as well as 2004 and 2012. MI, OH and IL were each within 2 points, including minor parties, in 1980. MI was within a point in 1984, 88 and 92.
