I am strongly sympathetic to what they say, just not sometimes the way they fight for it.

I guess? It's like like they're a particularly organized thing, which would be the only reason why I'm hesitant to say I "side" with them, but I certainly believe blacks receive disproportionate violent responses from police and that cops in America need serious reform.

No, because it isn't in my interest to do so.

Disagree with their tactics and rhetoric, but yes, I support most of their goals.

I support the majority of their goals but not their organization, no. They have too many of the same radicals that infested Occupy and the anti-war movement.

No, because:

-Black lives only matter to them when a black person is killed by a white police officer. They don't care about the far bigger problems of black on black violence or the abortion industry that targets black women.

-Their stupid stunts like blocking highways, and getting the Missouri university president fired over some drunk dickhead smearing poop on the walls and some hillbilly townies calling a black student the n word.

-I'm sure there are reasonable, well-intentioned people in the movement, but they're overshadowed by the extremists who are calling for killing cops and white people.  It's the same sort of things that happened in other leaderless movements like Occupy and Gamergate.

I'm pro-police reform. I don't like Black Lives Matter. Most people who associate with the label freak the hell out when anyone brings up the idea that White people are negatively impacted by the police as well, even if you make sure to categorically preface every such comment with "while absolutely Black people have it worse". 1) It's bad policy. Police harassment of people who happen to be White is bad and should be stopped 2)  It's bad politics. How are you ever going to get laws passed (that's what we want right?) when you needlessly and aggressively exclude 70% of the population from your discussion?

Additionally, most BLM matter activists I have met have been total idiots who call for police abolishion, prison abolishion, and deny that there's any problem with Black crime rates. I'll give the movement the benefit of the doubt that they are not a majority but they are a pretty sizable minority and no one ever calls them out.

Totally reject their goals.  I do support their right to speak their mind on how they feel.

I support and respect them. I may disagree with them on their actions and their view on the political process, but they focus and work on a very critical issue not just in America, but the world, that is police behaviour with minorities and the poor.

I agree with their cause. I don't agree with their methods.
