I think Bolduc/Morse winning outright is more likely than Walker winning the runoff if he doesn't get 50 in November. He's an absolute buffoon

Republicans keep trying to copy the Trump magic. It is a model that works with Trump, but to think anyone could do it if they just say the right talking points is so hubristic.

Herschel Walker is pretty much a joke of a candidate. It boggles the mind why Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott opted to recruit him to run. Had Geoff Duncan or Kelvin King won the nomination, then they would have likely defeated Raphael Warnock by a Saxby Chambliss 2002 or Mack Mattingly 1980 margin.

How would Gary Black have done? I'm always partial to running statewide electeds in competitive senate races.

I have no idea how they missed Kelvin King. Had he received institutional support from Kemp etc. he could've easily defeated Herschel in the primary and won this seat back. Why the establishment, country club crowd chose to go with Gary Black will never make sense to me. King has everything Walker has other than the football career and brain damage. Guy has a rags to riches life story, came from a single parent home, is a vet, founded his own company and so far as I know isn't a domestic abuser.

I remembered today we have the joy of seeing Walker because of the hilariously stupid decision to appoint Kelly Loeffler

Imagine if a left-winger used “Jesus Christ” and “mental problem” in the same sentence, lol.

Imagine if he used this line when he was campaigning at the Jewish event a few days ago.

Who do you think would have done better? Do you think that Doug Collins would have won the runoff even as David Perdue lost?

Well, right-wingers now also want to defund the FBI. We live in weird times.

Regardless of the environment, it's very clear to me after these specials that Walker has a near zero chance of winning the runoff. One of ME/NM/OR/MN Governor flipping is more likely than Walker winning the runoff

I believe a major factor may be whether senate control is decided by the runoff again or not. If not, the minority side may just not bother to turn out. So I'd rather have the deal sealed on November 9 for a Dem senate that consists 51 or more seats.

I doubt it, though he would have done a little bit better than Kelly Loeffler. Doug Collins is a pretty interesting politician, as he is very conservative and a MAGA guy, but actually has a decent record on civil rights for African Americans from what I have read.

I’d honestly be surprised if Walker manages to hold Warnock under 50% and to a runoff. Feels more likely that Warnock just wins outright with 51 or 52%.

Y'all will probably be only a few percent of the total vote, but in this closely divided state I expect that will be enough for a split Kemp/Warnock result.  (I strongly doubt there will be many Abrams/Walker ticket splitters.)

I’m struggling to think of who exactly an Abrams Walker voter would be. Maybe a very low info Democrat who is into sports?

Hardcore Trumpists who hate Kemp for not trying to steal the 2020 election. At least a few of them might want to vote Abrams to see Kemp go down.

The reason Warnock keeps trying to attack Walker on this issue is because he wants to obscure his story of mistreating his wife. In fact, as stated in this attack ad, his wife said, quote, "I have tried to keep the way that he acts under wraps for a long time."

Warnock hit his wife with a car after an argument, after which the police was called. Earlier this year, Warnock was accused of neglecting his own children by failing to meet their financial needs.

"Despite being worth $800 000 and making $774 000 every year from taxpayers, when officials attempted serve him papers, Warnock ran from the process server."

As his wife says "he is a great actor".
