Massachusetts is WAY too liberal for me, but if I had to choose, I'd choose anywhere but Boston or Cape Cod.  So, I chose Worcester and Springfield.

Boston metro.  My brother lives just north of Boston and I like it there.
I've have very good friends there and have been there but Worcester and Springfield are pretty dingy environs.

Massachusetts is one of the few states where most parts would be nice, but my favorite would be the Boston metro.
