Geez, cc: Kingpoleon; Please give this guy some poetry notes. So unoriginal!

Are you kidding? This is lovely:

"My sincere love for you has corrupted me
Deeper and deeper than mortal eye may see."

I prefer Maddox to Cobb, though Richard Lindsey would be better than either.

If Todd Strange, Tommy Battle, Sandy Stimpson, John McMillon, Scott Dawson, and Bill Hightower all run/stay in against Ivey, what will the results look like?

Tommy Battle vs. Sandy Stimpson vs. Todd Strange vs. Kay Ivey would be an interesting primary. I’m not sure Stimpson and/or Strange want to run, though.

There goes probably the biggest FF in your state legislature. Lindsey’s the only Democrat I could see beating Mike Rogers for that House seat.

Completely unrelated to anything but Richard Lindsey was the grand marshal of our county’s Christmas parade tonight. Great guy! And will be missed in the legislature.
I can’t believe he’s retiring. Richard Lindsey is a fine, honorable, and decent man, which is more than can be said of most politicians.
