Yes (Real Italian)

Even if I'm not a real fish fan, this is a must. The best is how my Sicilian Grandmother hates fish but is responsible for cooking it every year. Skipping the fish is never an option.

I don't know, my family is from way up North (my grandma thinks Sicily is in Africa) and we fight all the time.  Usually with a lot of cursing and spitting

Fish and Christmas don't go together.. especially not here.. unless it has been thoroughly soaked in lye.

No, because there's too many of us who don't eat fish.

Where from up north are you?  One of my grandfathers was half-Genovese, half-Parmagian (my other grandfather was Barese, and both of my grandmothers were Napolitan).

And yeah, my family is extremely prejudiced against Sicilians.  Sorry Phil!

These are disgusting results for those that consider themselves Italian. Be ashamed. Be very ashamed.

That's what we get tomorrow.  Smiley

It's something weird, I'm sure. I forget why we do it (not exactly the best thing to admit as a fan of traditions!) but it's still done.  Smiley

And yeah, my family is extremely prejudiced against Sicilians.  Sorry Phil!

That's ok. We can at least share being part Napolitan.  Smiley

Would be funny if your family came from either Bolzano Province or Valle d'Aosta.

I'm about to go upstairs to drink gourmet Jack Daniel's flavored coffee, and have some biscotti and maybe even some pasta and meatballs.

BUON NATALE!
