I wonder if Joe-mentum would switch over to be an Indepenent VP candidate.  He's a moderate/conservative Democrat which could be an attractive side-kick to a successful businessman running as President.

He's a lot of things, but I don't see him as a backstabber.

Which is the worse backstabber:

1)  Leaving your party to run on a ticket in the hopes to actually serve the people, or,

2)  Stay with your party and do what's best for your party over what's best for the public?

I'd rather see him leave his party and serve everyone.  He has a hard enough time towing his party's line these days anyway.  (Proof that you cannot cookie-cutter society into just two parties.)
