I doubt a Democrat is going to beat Mcconnell, not while Obama is around. Primary him please!

See that's what people need to remember about these heavily white conservative states. Insurgent  Democrats were able to make some gains in this region during the Bush administration because the GOP base was demoralized and losing faith in Bush. These days, a lot of the Republican Politicians in these states  are deeply unpopular but the GOP has a boogie man figure to unite the base. All Mitch McConnell has to do is tie the Democratic nominee to Obama and he'll win. Only after Obama leaves and a Republican president comes into office will Democrats have a chance to win segments of this conservative electorate.
