Quote
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Soon after the Dodgers captured the World Series title Tuesday night, fans hit the streets of Los Angeles.

AIR7 HD spotted fireworks going off in multiple neighborhoods, despite dangerous fire conditions and high winds in the region that have led to massive brush fires in Orange County.

Los Angeles police were predeployed in key locations throughout the city, following the experience after the Lakers win in which raucous celebrations led to damage to multiple buildings downtown.

"fans" of the local Sports Ball team that destroy their city when their team wins (or loses) the "big game" are bad people.

I've never understood this.  I've been caught up in games and excited to see my team get a victory but the idea of celebrating by burning cars and smashing windows has never once occurred to me.

L.A. is title-town but it sounds like some of their more exuberant fans need to calm down.

Looting over a sports team is a stupid thing

It's sports for God's sake.
