Looking at the WaPo website, it seems the votes still to come in are from largely Democratic areas. That right?

Correct. IIRC Monmouth County is the only Republican area with outstanding votes. Everything else is Dem territory.

This was way too close for comfort and this spells even more doom than the results in VA. Not good.

Simultaneously hilarious that Sweeney's career was ended by a political layperson and upsetting that said layperson has some pretty terrible views.
