Without much doubt Iraq will become like Nigeria. By then almost all the US troops will have left, and the government could barely hold onto itself.

It will obviously be swimming in cash, though most of it will be squirrelled into Swiss bank accounts owned by ultra-corrupt officials in bed with Exxon and Shell. Meanwhile the average Iraqi will have 3 hours of power per day, no hospitals, no schools, and no roads. Occasionally a violent militia would attack an oil pipeline, but other than that the government won't care.

Not a positive sight.

It will be a province in a new nation colloquially known in the west as Cradle, loyally sending troops to fight Europe for control over Turkey. There will be a video game.
