huh ok

India Walton is cringe, has a horrible personality, and a lot of pretty questionable personal problems. Byron winning strengthens the WNY left a la DemSocs after Bernie 2016.

...that's. Not how politics works.

Yes it is.

Also, some notes: Crystal Peoples-Stokes defies Schumer and Gillibrand, endorses Byron Brown.

I voted at the County Board which had an immediate line of 5-10 people at noon, right at the start of early voting. This race is very exciting.
Im assuming you voted for Brown?

FWIW, interesting sidenote in the final hours, some media around Buffalo are now considering write-in candidate Ben Carlisle a candidate (of note) in the race. Having met Ben I can see why voters would like him. Appeals to a small but loud niche of Buffalo voters.

What niche is that if you don’t mind elaborating?

He's a former Dem and Obama voter that's essentially disgruntled by both the left and right since COVID. Mostly liberal on social issues but right-leaning on the economy and COVID topics. I could see some centrist or apolitical folks (not willing to support Brown) writing him in. Not to say he'll surpass 2% though, but if Walton/Brown goes to a razor's edge he could be the variable.
What about Jazz Miles is he expected to get a significant portion of the Buffalo GOP vote? or Has Brown consolidated it.
