Because it is filled with Pre-teens and teens that are interested in holding counter-cultural views for their own shock-value sake. But more importantly as seems to be a trend with this demographic, to try and be rebellious against what is the norm.

Then how come leftist politics are as common as libertarian politics on the internet even though it has the second best following of the ideology's?

It doesn't matter. They're both anti-establishment and that was the point.
