STOP THE POPE TUNNEL ACT

1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no public funds from the Southern government, or any State, local, or tribal government in the South, shall be used to pay for construction activities for a tunnel under the Atlantic Ocean connecting Atlasia to Europe.

2. It is the position of the Southern Region that the territory known as Vatican City is and should be recognized as part of the nation of Italy and subject to the laws thereto. Accordingly, no Regional, State, or local public funds shall be expended:

A. To acquire or provide any textbook, teaching materials, or library book that identifies or depicts Vatican City as not being part of Italy;

B. To fund activities by any club, organization, entity, or non-profit that identifies or depicts Vatican City as not being part of Italy;

C. To draft, prepare, or distribute any report or other public document that identifies or depicts Vatican City as not being part of Italy.

D. To acquire or provide any map that identifies or depicts Vatican City as not being part of Italy, including on government websites and at reststops and visitor centers.

3. A copy of this resolution shall be submitted to the Secretary of State of Atlasia.

4. This act shall take effect immediately.

The Promoting Holy Communion Act is hereby repealed immediately.

RECOGNIZING INDIA'S CLAIM OVER KASHMIR ACT

1. It is the position of the Southern Region that the territorial claims made by the nation of India to the disputed region of Kashmir are valid and should be recognized as part of the nation of India and subject to the laws thereto.

2. All Maps in any Public Schools and any publicly funded places in the Southern Region should show Kashmir as being part of India .

3. Accordingly, no Regional, State, or local public funds shall be expended:

A. To acquire or provide any textbook, teaching materials, or library book that identifies or depicts Kashmir as not being part of India;

B. To fund activities by any club, organization, entity, or non-profit that identifies or depicts Kashmir as not being part of India;

C. To draft, prepare, or distribute any report or other public document that identifies or depicts Kashmir as not being part of India.

D. To acquire or provide any map that identifies or depicts Kashmir as not being part of India, including on government websites and at rest stops and visitor centers.

4. A copy of this resolution shall be submitted to the Secretary of State of Atlasia.

CELEBRATING THE RAM MANDIR ACT

1. It is the position of the Southern Region That the Construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was a successful act of decolonization and should be celebrated as such

2. All schools in the south will learn about the construction of the Ram Mandir as an example of decolonization

3. Former Indian Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani will be positively recognized in all Southern Textbooks for his role in the Ram Mandir Movement

4. This act shall take effect immediately.

JACOBITE BILL

Whereas the so called "Glorious" Revolution of 1688 was a coup d'état against the divinely anointed monarchy of England, Scotland, and Ireland that was motivated by anti-Catholic bigotry and conspiratorial thinking, the Southern State Diet hereby enacts the following:

1) All history and political science textbooks used by public educational institutions in the South (or any educational institution that receives public money) shall correctly recognize the senior line of the House of Stuart as the legitimate monarchs of the British Isles and shall correctly designate the current so-called "House of Windsor" as illegitimate usurpers.

2) As the 1707 Act of Union and the 1801 Act of Union never received royal assent, all maps produced by the Southern Government or those used by public educational institutions in the South (or any educational institution that receives public money), shall depict England, Scotland, and Ireland as separate Kingdoms.

3) Should a member of the "House of Windsor" set foot within the Principality of the South, the Southern Attorney General shall be empowered to prosecute those individuals for theft and criminal conversion of the British royal estates and the Southern Attorney General shall be empowered to extradite said individuals to an appropriate foreign court.

4) All provisions of this act shall be severable from each other.

TRANS-ATLANTIC TUNNEL ACT

1) To facilitate commerce and foster deeper ties with important European partners, the Principality of the South shall immediately begin construction on a Trans-Atlantic Tunnel, starting in the District of Columbia, and terminating in or near the old city of Rome.
2)  To accommodate foreign dignitaries who may transit into the Principality of the South via the Trans-Atlantic Tunnel, a fortified compound shall be built in the District of Columbia to house those dignitaries.
3)  Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Trans-Atlantic Tunnel shall be funded from infrastructure grants from the federal government and from the regional general fund (with matching funds to be provided by state, local, and tribal governments).
4) Ground shall be broken on the Trans-Atlantic Tunnel as soon as is practicable.
