Russian President Vladimir Putin’s peace proposal for Ukraine remains on the table despite Kiev’s recent missile attack on Sevastopol, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

Ukraine conducted a missile barrage on Russia’s Crimean peninsula on Sunday using US-made ATACMS equipped with cluster munition warheads. While Russian air defenses managed to intercept the missiles, one ended up exploding in the air above the city of Sevastopol, leading to casualties among the civilian population.

For Ukrainians, the Biden-Trump debate was a high stakes affair:

Russians have breached the Ukrainian defensive lines near Horlivka. These strongholds are the last remanents of the pre-2015 lines. They are also advancing from Avdiivka-Ocheretyne.

The battles for Chasiv Yar and Vochansk are still ongoing, which I believe will be in Russian hands by the end of the year.

Meanwhile Ukraine hasn't even retaken a village this year, let alone a town. (The naysayers are free to name them if there are any)

It seems Zelensky accepts that most likely it will be Trump that will be Prez next year and is now trying to lock Trump in in terms of his likely policy on the Russia-Ukraine war.
