Should Biden schedule weekly town halls up until the convention?

If Biden really wants to convince voters that he's cognitively fit for the job and that the debate was just a fluke, he needs to do more then just a few short, scripted speeches where he's reading from a teleprompter and no questions are allowed. If he participates in a few town halls and shows that he can effectively answer a tough questions on the fly, then maybe he can regain the trust of some swing voters.

Biden’s best strategy going forward is to only appear in the form of giant Soviet-style propaganda posters.  These could depict him performing everyday presidential activities such as leading a coal miners’ strike, flying a fighter jet, reading proverbs from his own book of personal philosophy, and playing golf to a 6-handicap.

Yeah, this is obviously what he should do if he is capable of it. If he could do this, that would shut down all the criticism pretty quickly for the most part, at least more effectively than anything else ever could.

He knows that.

His campaign team surely knows that.

So the fact that there is - at least so far - no sign of him planning to do anything like this, just raises further questions.

I mean, you could try but I think that's going to make Biden look worse.  He's not doing well without a teleprompter and the debate exemplified that.  He's also going to look REALLY old to a lot of voters, especially when they see Jill helping him around.  That's not going to give the people that attend these things a lot of confidence.
