In the past twenty years so many people have asked if I am married. How is it any of their business or why would they even give a sh*t? Have any of you ever had that same problem? I am sure it gets frustrating hearing people ask that question.

Recently I’ve been telling basically everyone I’m married, which is probably annoying in its own right. But I guess I’m almost literally still in the “honeymoon phase.”

Mostly old people ask me that question. Some ask me if I have children. Next time they ask I should tell them I've got them scattered all over the world just to get their reaction.

Happens all the time, then they ask if I have a girlfriend.  That's teenagers tho.

Why do people in my area keep asking me that question then? It's really offensive. I don't know why they even care. I would never ever ask someone if they were married or if they had any children. It's none of my business. Quite frankly I don't give a s*** either.

No, it's just an easy small talk question.

The only time it bothers me is when coworkers ask but that's because I don't want anyone I work with to know anything about me. I don't want to be friends, I don't want to chat, I just want to do my job, lol.
