Some of these are kind of arbitrary...Lightning McQueen, really?

Mario by far. His relevance has been the most consistent.

The deuteragonist, sort of, of Friday Night Funkin', an as-of-yet unreleased rhythm game (one of those keyboard DDR simulators) which had a demo released from 2020 to 2021. This demo happened to be open source and thus inspired a glut of mods with music far worse than the actual game's.
