So day 1

No Phil yardsigns, but that's to be expected given he isn't using yard signs yet, unfortunately.

One house I saw had a Trump and John Klar (main Phil challenger) sign. I may have booed from my car window.

I saw several signs for Emily Peyton on roadsides, who is a perennial candidate running in the GOP primary. She ran in Liberty Union in 2018 (a socialist party) so I will discount her.

Several signs for minor Democratic candidates, none for Zuckerman or Holcombe.
Sanders was in the Liberty Union Party before he decided that he wanted to be elected to something.

Do you support Tim Ashe for Lt. Governor or you support Miline?

I wonder what will the political future of the Vermont Republican Party in the other offices considering a lot of their positions are filled with Brookie Page, and I wonder how well the Progressive Party will do in the downballot and the Auditor election as Cris Erickson is the only candidate.

Things are getting very nasty in Vtpol.

Relations between Phil Scott and legislative Democrats have never been worse, I will try not to editorialize but the battle over education funding as intensified, with Phil Scott's veto of the yield bill being overridden. Rhetoric is intensifying as battle lines harden with elections approaching.

Phil is seeming very not like himself. Part of me thinks what with the pandemic, the flooding, the supermajority, and his party turning into a fascist cult, his heart isn't in it anymore and Gibbs is running the show.
Out of curiosity, why is he running again if his heart isn't in it?
