It depends on the majority. A narrow Remain victory would have probably been good for UKIP in an electoral sense in a similar way to how the 2014 independence referendum was good for the SNP.

Movements like Nexit (Netherlands leaving the EU) would be stronger. The issues surrounding Brexit were a potent negative example.

I wonder if Cameron would've done what May did and call a snap election to take advantage of Corbyn being supposable unelectable? He said he wouldn't run for a third term in 2015 but would the allure of what everyone thought was a guaranteed landslide make him change his mind?
