That was an excellent episode and a lovely throwback to the 70s. Can’t wait for the finale. Too bad the new seasons are so short.

The short seasons are an annoyance that seems to be all too common now. I'd prefer the 13 we used to have years ago (with 3-4 two-parters). I'm even more disappointed that we can't even get 10 episodes per season. Overall, I really enjoy this season, but I do feel like it's been cut short and something has been lost as a result (even subpar episodes can build up and flesh out the Doctor, the companion, and their dynamic).

Well, after a mostly superb season (Space Babies being an exception), I felt somewhat let down by the finale.

Season was too short. This should have been a three parter but I did think it was a good episode. On to Christmas.

This season was certainly a step up from the Chibnall era, but it hasn't managed to return to the old RTD level of the 2000s yet.

Actors and characters are good, quality of writing feels uneven and all over the place though. I suppose something similar could have been said about the original Eccleston season back in 2005, since it had farting shape-shifting aliens (their equivalent of the space babies?) and stuff.
