Supporters of RCV argue it strengthens democracy, but passing it could actually be counterintuitive. RCV is confusing for voters who are using it for the first time. Additionally, because it’s also only being pushed for by one party, it just looks like democrats are trying to change the rules to advantage them (which could further embolden Republicans to pass their own election laws).

RCV is in no way confusing. You literally just rank your choices.
