Predictions for "flash polls" after the debate? I wonder what networks will even pay to have them done, I would assume that at least CNN will... maybe CBS.

Probably very similar to actual polls. I honestly doubt the debate swings much voters unless one candidate completely craters. Everyone will just claim their preferred candidate has won.

Not necessarily, the flash polls in both 2016 and 2020 were both decent leads for Hillary/Biden IIRC. The first one in 2020 was definitely a win for Biden, I think the second debate was still a Biden "win" but the margin wasn't nearly as big as the first one

Curious what the breakdown of viewers will be. Polls are suggesting Republicans will be watching moreso than Dems this year, which is a break from the past.

I mean, CNN owns the debate. They're not going to give the rights to anyone they don't approve - because there are stipulations in place on agreement to simulcast ("The CNN Debate on...."), so I'm not surprised they're not just letting anyone who wants to simulcast it do so without proper approval

I'd say Biden in terms of ability to string together cogent thoughts.  However, there are also low expectations for Trump's behavior.  That's why if Biden can be cogent and Trump can look civil and isn't wild like he was in debate #1 in 2020 that it can basically end up as a win-win for each candidate (or how they each can claim victory).

Let me guess. "Trump sounded surprisingly presidential and mainstream" (the commentary every time he gets in front of a camera for an extended period of time, that isn't a rally).

Biden has his moments but otherwise an unexceptional performance.

It seems that all the major channels are airing it.
CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, etc.
Doesn't seem CNN is trying to monopolize the airing of it. Though I'm not sure on who and how it can be re-aired for others to watch at a later date/time.
