I took one look at this debate, more importantly one earful, and Trump is winning by a mile. That's all I needed.

Why the hell have we all lined up behind Biden? He genuinely sounds like he's dying. It was an odd choice back in 2020 but I can at least understand that if you don't like Sanders he was your only other option. This year there's several notable figures that we've been talking about since last year all forced to hold themselves back for Biden.

The Clintonites from 8 years ago, still in leadership positions, can't seriously expect his old man to appeal to the nation. This is a clear effort to force Kamala Harris, unelectable in a Democratic primary, on us. I have to believe that because the alternative, an actual second term of Joe Biden, just isn't workable due to his age.

Also he is walking way too fast. I have ADHD and he's stumbling over his words and going fast, combined with the weak sounding voice.

He’s lying as usual but sounds more restrained and believable than usual. If I was a swing voter watching this in a vacuum who knew nothing about these guys or the truth of what they’re saying, I would vote for Trump. And it wouldn’t be close.

I have been adamantly opposed to Biden dropping out or Democrats replacing him on the ticket, mostly because I thought it would be a bad look for the party.

Now....I think it would be the best thing the party could do.

It's the worst possible visual for him, frankly.

I'm curious to know how much debate prep he actually had. I would have assumed that would be something Biden's people would coach him to not do. It makes him look dazed and confused.
