No.

Cori Bush won because of white people in 2020, and she'll lose because of white people in 2024.

John Bell's base of support was mainly former Whigs. So I would think so, unless the St Louis area was unique in this regard.

I think it’s a significant advantage for Bell that he is also black, too. Look how Russ Carnahan got destroyed here in 2012 despite his famous last name.

I say that its too soon to know. We have to analyze the primary vote after it's been officially published to see if Bell wins the same precincts that Clay won four years ago. Reply #1 above (Bernie DSH) correctly said that Bush won in 2020 thanks to white voters -- she won most heavily in the predominantly white wards w/in the city and white townships in the county -- but I have no ability to predict how she'll do with whites this time.

I am pretty sure Cori will get wrecked, similar to Bowman, but who knows. Cori definitely will win the pro-Gaza white vote. Muslims, ironically, hate Cori, but maybe the Gaza dispute helps her there?
