Tossup between Gorsuch and Barrett for me. Ultimately voted ACB.

I deliberately left Roberts out, since he's the least right-wing of them and would pretty much win handily among red and green avs.

It may actually be ACB, more often than not.

On the whole, it's easy to see that Trump had the best SCOTUS nominees of any GOP president since...Reagan?

Barrett > Gorsuch > Kavanaugh > Alito > Thomas

Really an irony that the two worst, and by far the worst, aren't Trump appointees.

I actually agree here though Roberts is better than Kavanaugh and ACB. Gorsuch is the best scotus appointment since Scalia though

Hotdog Barrett could be easily mistaken for Phyllis Schlafly's fantasy daughter, but her being a woman at all seems to slightly make her the most likely to give a sensible ruling here and there.

I probably would've voted Gorsuch. but his Establishment Clause jurisprudence scares me.

That was the reasoning for my vote as well.

While I can see an argument that Barrett might be slightly more liberal than Gorsuch, there is ultimately such a small difference between the two of them on overall ideology that the distinction is almost meaningless. If Gorsuch was suddenly replaced by a Barrett clone, I do not think that change would have any meaningful impact on the decisions or balance of the Court. Perhaps if Barrett was significantly more liberal than Gorsuch, or if there was nothing else differentiating them, I'd go with Barrett, but I think Gorsuch wins this one as his voice and opinions actually add to the Court because of his solid record on Native American issues.

If I got to wish up a 8-1 left-wing SCOTUS but there had to be one far-right "Justice," I'd probably pick Gorsuch over Roberts too. Given the current makeup of the Court, I'd rather have a Justice Roberts before Gorsuch because of his willingness to actually work with the Democratic appointees for the Supreme Court as an institution, but he doesn't really seem to add anything beyond that institutional viewpoint that would make me want him under a hypothetical Democratic supermajority.
