I think the right Republican can win Nevada but Colorado is pretty much permanently blue

Both have a Republican Senator, and Nevada also has a Republican Governor.

Virginia on the other hand...

Colorado is pretty much solid/likely dem, except maybe if they nominate someone absolutely ridiculous.

Nevada is a little more iffy but seems to lean dem in presidential elections.

No. What is it people saying states won by 5 or less by Democrats are unwinnable for Republicans, but no state won by Republicans less than 10 points is considered unwinnable for Democrats. Seriously warped view of reality. Did you guys see that southern Colorado trended Republican, almost offsetting the Democratic trend in the Denver suburbs?

Colorado is basically a west coast version of Virginia.  Unwindable for Republicans, trending further left, but a sizable Republican population, which keeps the vote close enough that it's on the radar.

Clinton won by 5, only 3 points more than nationally. 'Unwinnable' is a term I wouldn't use.

Colorado...maybe. A little bit of a bold assertion, but there's a plausible rationale behind it.

But Nevada, which is currently the closest Model State (as in reflects the National Vote), and until this year was more reliable than Ohio...well there's one word for that: No.
